Our Strategic Pillars
Our Strategic Pillars
Women Development
(WELSA CENTER)
WELSA (Women Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Skills Advancement) Center advances inclusive development by training women—nearly half of Pakistan’s population—in entrepreneurship, leadership, and practical skills. These programs equip women to drive social impact, strengthen economic growth, and contribute to long-term national prosperity. WELSA’s signature training program, Samajhdar Maan aur Gharana (Smart Moms & Families), lies at the heart of this mission.
Samajhdar Maan Aur Gharana
(Smart Moms & Families)
The Samajhdar Maan aur Ghrana program is an 8-week evidence-informed training program designed to empower mothers with essential life skills in parenting, health, nutrition, financial literacy, hygiene, and emotional well-being. Through dedicated engagement sessions with male family members, the program creates a ripple effect of family-wide support, healthier behaviors, stronger relationships, and lasting community impact.
Environment
(CleAir)
Article 9 of Pakistan’s Constitution guarantees the right to life, which inherently includes the right to a clean and healthy environment. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 12, 13, and 15) further remind us that climate action is everyone’s responsibility.

Children whose parents talk them through big feelings tend to do better at school, not just at home. Decades of research by psychologist John Gottman found that 'emotion coached' children, whose parents name feelings and work through them together instead of dismissing or punishing them, go on to build stronger friendships, better emotional regulation, and even stronger academic performance. It isn't about a child never getting upset. It's about what a parent does next, the same principle behind the emotional-skills sessions in Samajhdar Maan aur Gharana. 860. That's the number that should worry us more than any headline. Pakistan ranks among the world's most water-scarce countries, with per-capita water availability projected to fall toward roughly 860 cubic meters a year, well below the internationally recognized water-scarcity threshold of 1,000 m³. CleAir's tree-planting and awareness work directly supports water conservation, healthier green cover means better water retention for the whole community. Through Insaniyat, we ran free medical camps at underserved areas of AJK and KPK (i.e. Tehjian Village, Neelum District, Azad Jammu & Kashmir), treating over 800 patients in partnership with the Public Health Department, and local Welfare Organizations. This is what 'Insaniyat' means to us, not just a word, but a commitment to show up where the need is greatest and the access is hardest. 64% of Pakistan is under 30. This is either our biggest opportunity or our biggest missed one. Economists call this a potential 'demographic dividend', an economic engine, if that generation gets real access to education, skills, and opportunity. Without investment, the same youth bulge becomes disillusionment instead. Our HOPE Center and our partnership with Umeed-e-Sehar Community School exist to make sure more of that 64% gets the 'dividend' version of this story.
